"What you are passionate about was created in you to make a splash in this life that no one else can make. Make it. Make it now." - Nicole Johnson, Fresh Brewed Life
Practicing people, and always leaning toward flowers and bottles, vases, teacups, etc. Must be simply that still life objects with their color and form are simply what I am inspired by... People are work - yet work I must...
I think your quick sketches are quite good. Maybe the man didn't look exactly like the subject, but so what? The important thing is that you went out an Drew! Good for you! nancy
Thank you Dan! LOL Normally "I" need color; that's what inspires me most - but lately it's sensuous line I'm craving! I love simple pencil or pen line drawings - and I can't seem to get the courage to desecrate the pristine appearance of these pages with color. So I am calling them finished as is.
I really like your pencil sketches. And it's remarkable that you gave the book a treatment different from the one that inspires you and yet you still made a great job out of it. Well done!
The first one is my favorite. You are so much more disciplined than I am! Between catching up on your blog posts and watching Geninne's videos today, I'm ready to draw and paint something!

I think these are very good pencil sketches. Who need color?!

Nice sketches! They have a big gestural feel of freedom to them.
yeah! who needs colors? :p
*actually colors are nice, but it's just a lot of work*
But these are great and don't require anymore colors
Great sketches. Isn't it fun to just capture a moment.
