My zinnias - I look forward to their brilliant colors all winter and spring.
The perfect subject for sketching with their interesting shapes and glowing colors.

Nice Zinnia! I have a bunch that I started a while ago. Some of them are 5 feet high now. It seems I can't cut them fast enough. The type is called "Cut and Come Again," and when you cut one blossom, two more appear lower down on the stem.
You did a nice job with this sketch, good color and shape. You captured the petals of the blossom nicely. I'm inspired now...better go cut some and start sketching!
