Today's Sketches
Today I've enjoyed sketching - simple sketches of teapots, pitchers, etc. that I photographed one day at the local antique shop. I have these photos on my digital frame and just pause the photo and sketch it and then go to the next. I like this method of sketching, particularly during these rather blah winter months.

I definitely tend to go with photos! Wonderful teapots!
I am more of a photo journalers lately. Mostly because of my new camera. I can sketch, I haven't done it in about 8 years, before my husband and kids. Today we are having a very grey day. I have so much sunshine, even in winter, that the grey days are cooler and I enjoy them. Today i am catching up on a lot of missed time with all the blogs I follow and all the writing. My kids finally went back to school today. Have a great day in art today.
I always enjoy sketching my children on gray days, or beach scenes. Your teapots are wonderful!
I always save all of my favorite photos in a special folder, and when I get the uninspired "blahs" I go digging in that folder.
