An Illustrated Life came in the mail from Amazon.com yesterday. I love this book! I just can hardly stand to put it down! Thank you, Danny Gregory for such a wonderful book!

Welcome to the Love My Journal group. Everyone is raving about this book. I am going to order it. I just thought I'd wait till after Christmas on the off chance someone in my family would actually buy something off my wishlist! I think Christmas better hurry though or I'll be buying it anyhow. I love the look on your white chicken. Glad the book got you working in your journals again.
We have very similar tastes! I have all of Jane Austen's novels, the Degas book, Sketching School; am reading Wordsworth... Wow!
Which one of your books would you say has been most helpful in your development as an artist?
Isn't that interesting. Loved looking at your bookcase. Although we have interests in common we have very few books in common. I will do mine, but not today - going out soon. I have Danny Gregory, and the 1000 journal book - that's about all.
Although it's a bit later than when you posted this, ;-) I have to say how intriguing it is to see what you have on your shelves. Perhaps I should do the same. We have some of the same books (particularly sketching). What you have affirmed for me is that just ONE book on a topic may not be enough. Do you read and reread the books??
