Constructive Criticism Welcome

I revised the painting on the left today. I didn't like the first version (shown below)

I welcome advice and critique. Constructive criticism. I think maybe it needs text, or more layers, but I can't figure out what to add or how to add it. Or maybe they are complete as is. ? Any suggestions are welcome.

I think it's a nice page but if you are wondering if it's complete or not the only thing I could say is you have one corner that is empty and the rest of the page is full. Would a word or a butterfly fill it and make you feel complete?

I love both versions actually, I think they are very vibrant! Perhaps if you'd like to add a little realism, different shades of green and yellow would help a little on the leaves and stems part. The flowers are unique as they are ^^

I think the flowers are really colorful and stylish. I don't really agree with freebird (sorry freebird), whether they are hung individually or hung side by side as a pair. Since you are unsure, would put them in a drawer or cabinet for a week or two and then look at them again. Then you will be more objective when you look at them. After all, only you can really decide what (if anything) is missing in your work. I think more color in the background may be what you are looking for. I like the design, great negative space, and I think the centers of the flowers are really special and unique!

Thank you all for taking your time to look and comment! I appreciate your encouragement, help and interest! Freebird, I agree with you that the corner does bother me, but Dan I think it's the lack of color in the background - for me color is the point of art. I will take Dan's advice and put these away for a while and then think about how to add color in the background. I thought too just now that I might add petals to one or both of the circular flowers on the right.

Mmmmmm...I like the revised flowers! I'm thinking here...maybe...something about the stems. Are they too uniform? Perhaps varying stem width along with some bends to reflect the curves and arcs of the flowers? I like Alex's idea of new greens and yellows to add some different values to the leaves. Play with some sketches and see what pleases your eye! Good luck!
